Da Bigger Buzz – Official Rules & Disclaimer

By participating in Da Bigger Buzz, all contestants acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Music Licensing

Contestants grant Da Bigger Buzz and its affiliates a non-exclusive license to use, present, promote, distribute, market, sell, and otherwise exploit the performance recordings and songs submitted or performed during the production, at our discretion, across any media platforms and affiliate marketing channels.

2. Judging & Scoring

Contestants will be evaluated through:

Scores assigned by judges during production.

An additional score based on social media engagement accumulated within the first 24 hours following the release of the contestant’s content.

3. Prohibited Conduct

Any attempt to artificially influence engagement or voting will result in immediate disqualification. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Bot traffic or automated engagement.

Paid digital advertising campaigns intended to boost contest performance.

Purchased followers, likes, views, or comments.

Stat manipulation or switching.

Any other form of artificial or fraudulent engagement.

Da Bigger Buzz reserves the sole right to determine whether engagement is legitimate.

4. Audition Footage

All audition footage and related content are for promotional purposes only and may be used by Da Bigger Buzz and its affiliates without additional compensation.

5. Group Winners

Winners from each group of twenty-five (25) contestants will receive a two-hour studio session with Dame Dozha. During the session, artists will select a beat and create an original hook and verse.

6. Ownership of Music Created During Production

All music, recordings, and productions created as a direct result of Da Bigger Buzz production sessions are owned and controlled by Dame Dozha and Da Bigger Buzz. Dame Dozha reserves all rights regarding the production, release, licensing, and exploitation of such recordings.

7. Publishing Splits

Producers involved in the creation of music will receive their applicable producer share of publishing.

Writers and performing artists will receive 80% (8/10 points) of their writer’s share of publishing attributable to their contributions.

Publishing and royalty allocations may be further documented in separate agreements where necessary.

8. Final Authority

Da Bigger Buzz reserves the right to interpret these rules, determine eligibility, remove contestants, and make final decisions regarding scoring, disqualifications, and prize distribution. All decisions made by Da Bigger Buzz are final.
